A soup sized bowl made of local Sycamore.
This wood was reclaimed from a local Sycamore tree that fallen during Hurricane Irma.
I cured the wood, then milled it to a workable peice, let it cure a little longer and then turned it into this bowl.
A beautiful honey color with darker grain and lines along with a few natural knots and inclusions.
The bowl is finished with a combination of Shellac, Carnuba wax, and Beeswax giving it a nice soft look.
Do not machine wash or soak in water, clean with a soft damp cloth and air dry. Butcher block oil may be applied as needed over time.
